Lahore police arrested Rambo, his accomplice, in the light of the victim’s statement in the case of the incident involving a woman in Greater Iqbal Park.
According to the Investigation Wing of Lahore Police, during the investigation in the Greater Iqbal Park case, the investigation team headed by DIG Investigation Lahore Sharq Jamal Khan has achieved significant success.
DIG Investigation Sharq Jamal said that the victim of Greater Iqbal Park had named 13 people in her statement after which 8 people including the main accused Amir Sohail alias Rambo have been taken into custody.
He said the other nominees would be arrested soon and the case would be investigated in accordance with the law.
According to police, the victim, Tik Toker, submitted a written statement to the DIG Investigation, in which she blamed her partner Rambo for the incident.
He said that Rambo had planned to go to Greater Iqbal Park and Rambo along with his colleagues had made some nasty videos of me.
He said that Rambo has been blackmailing me because of the videos, Rambo has blackmailed me and taken Rs. 1 million.
“I used to give half of my salary to Rambo. Rambo runs a TikTok gang with his partner,” she said.
It may be recalled that Ayesha Akram along with her close friend Rambo reached Minar-e-Pakistan Park, Greater Iqbal, on August 14 this year, where she was assaulted and after videos of her harassment went viral, the Prime Minister and Chief Minister of Punjab Had taken notice.
After registering a case of the incident, the police initially arrested 503 people and then the arrested accused were identified in the parade, out of which 104 were sent for the identification parade.
Ayesha Akram had identified only six of the 104 accused, while the court had ordered their release in early September after 98 people were not identified.
