Scientists have developed a smart dressing for examining old and deep wounds that can provide a complete picture in just fifteen minutes.

Some wounds are so deep that they need to be prevented over and over again despite being bandaged, or they can turn into ulcers. Scientists have developed a smart dressing called “V-Care”. The National University of Singapore also called the smart dressing a wound sensor, which can be used to receive real-time data through an app.

With this dressing, healing of non-healing wounds and ulcers can be seen. In just 15 minutes, you can notice the type of bacteria and microbes in the wound, temperature, pH, and inflammation elements inside. All details are fed into the app in real-time.
