Ingredients & Quantity

  • full chicken (1 Kg)
  • Oil (1/2 Cup)
  • Yogurt (1/4th Cup)
  • Finely Chopped Onion (1/2 Cup)
  • Ginger Garlic Paste (1 tablespoon)
  • Finely Chopped Tomato (2 Cups)
  • Salt to taste
  • Red Chili Powder (2 tablespoons)
  • Chopped Dried Coriander (1 teaspoon)
  • Cumin Powder (1 tsp Spoon)
  • thickly chopped green chilies(2 tbsp)

For garnish :

  • Green coriander (chopped) 1 tbsp green chilies (sliced) 1 tbsp
  • ginger (finely chopped in length) 2 tbsp
  • frying pan hot spice powder 2 tbsp
Chicken Karahi

Method for Chicken Karahi:

First cut the chicken into 16 pieces and set aside. Next heat oil in a pan and add onion cook until it becomes lightly brown. After that add ginger-garlic paste and cook for one to two minutes. Then add tomatoes, all spices, and 1 cup water. Cook for 20 to 30 minutes until the meat becomes soft. After adding yogurt and green chilies and fry for 5 to 6 minutes till oil comes out. Garnish with green coriander, green chilies, and ginger. Sprinkle with hot spices and serve with bread. Moreover You can increase or decrease the amount of onion, tomato, and yogurt according to the gravy you want.
