PTA Guides Mobile Operators To Improve Service Quality. The Pakistan Telecommunications Authority (PTA) has directed cellular mobile operators (CMO) to improve network coverage and performance and maintain quality of service (QoS) as per license standards.
In light of public complaints about service quality degradation and PTA survey results, it was noted that lack of network expansion and insufficient network / sites are some of the causes of problems of QoS. CMOs have been asked to take concrete steps to resolve root causes, ensure network stability and adequate coverage by expanding their networks, especially in densely populated urban areas.
The PTA will review the steps taken by CMOs from time to time to verify that enhanced voice and data services are being extended to subscribers. The best coverage and quality of service will ensure you meet end-user expectations for optimal performance.
