Pakistan Car Sales In The First 11 Months Of This Fiscal Year Have Fallen. According to the Economic and Commercial Office of Karachi, data from the Pakistan Automobile Manufacturers Association show that Pakistan’s cars in the first 11 months of the 2019-20 fiscal year (2019.7.1-2020.6.30). The sales and production of the company fell sharply year-on-year, with a decrease of 53.78% and 54.54% respectively. Data show that in the first 11 months of the 2019-20 fiscal year, 89,130 vehicles were sold, compared with 192,863 vehicles sold in the same period last year, a year-on-year decrease of 53.78. Production decreased from 196,415 vehicles to 89,284 vehicles, a year-on-year decrease of 54.54%.
Among the cars, Honda’s sales dropped by 66.96% from 37,083 units in the last fiscal year (11 months) to 12,252 units in this fiscal year (11 months). Suzuki Swift’s sales also increased from the previous fiscal year’s 4,488 vehicles dropped by 63.77% to 1,626 vehicles. Toyota Corolla’s sales fell from 52,314 to 21,285, a 59.31% decrease. The sales of Suzuki Cultus dropped from 21,775 to 11,477, a 47.29% decline, while the sales of Suzuki Wagon-R dropped sharply by 78.29% from 29,988 to 6,508.
