Omar Sharif Treatment

ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Information Fawad Chaudhry has said that despite the critical condition of legendary actor Omar Sharif, he could not be sent abroad for immediate treatment.

In his message on social networking site Twitter, Federal Minister for Information Fawad Chaudhry said that Special Assistant for Health Dr. Faisal has consulted with Omar Sharif’s medical team and this consultation will continue today. The challenge in case of poor health is how to make the journey possible. Omar Sharif is our asset. All resources will be provided for treatment.

Yesterday, Dr. Faisal Sultan, health adviser of Prime Minister Imran Khan, had said that the government would provide all possible help for the treatment of Omar Sharif.

Tweeting on social networking site Twitter, Dr. Faisal Sultan said that he has talked to the doctors of Aga Khan University regarding the treatment for Umar Sharif. All possible help should be provided for the treatment of Umar Sharif.
