According to the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS), Pakistan exported spices worth Rs 52.489 million during July-January (2020-21) to July-January (2020-21).

In terms of quantity, exports of spices also increased by 6.72% to 12,984 metric tonnes from 12,166 metric tonnes, according to the data.

Meanwhile, on a year-on-year basis, during the month of January 2021, spice exports also increased by 18.02% over the same month last year.

Exports of spices from the country during January 2021 were recorded at 0 11.027 million as against 3.9343 million in January 2020.

According to PBS data, based on the month of January, exports of spices increased during January 2021 when compared to exports of 10.105 million in December 2020, competitive exports increased by 9.12%.
