In money, this amounts to 2,976 hryvnias. Provided you only drive to and from work. Let’s add trips to the store, a trip to visit friends in another area, so we will run another 50 km per week, that is, about 225 km per month, and therefore another 992 hryvnias will be added to the expenses.

You will spend at least an hour every time you fill up with gasoline. And since most often no more than 20 liters are poured, you will have to refuel at least three times. So, three hours is the minimum for waiting. It looks quite tolerable.

Let’s summarize the expenses for the year
Scooter — 18,000 hryvnias for 9 months + 5,000 hryvnias for charging with daily use for 12 months, in the end 23,000. But then only for charging.
Car — 36,000 hryvnias for gasoline, 6,000 hryvnias for maintenance, 800 hryvnias to change shoes. Total 42,800 hryvnias. And also parking/garage/parking costs.
You still have to buy helmets, but you also need to buy a first-aid kit, a fire extinguisher, and a spare for the car. Kit etc.
Auto, if used only in the city, loses. And this is only in the first year of use. And in the second year it will already be 42,000 against 5,000 hryvnias. That is, the benefit is almost 8.5 times!
Of course, both types of transport have their advantages and disadvantages. But regardless of your lifestyle and savings, there’s something to think about, right?
If you want to buy a scooter to replace a car, it will definitely be super profitable: 23,000 hryvnias for the first year against 42,000 every year.
