A rare occurrence, but it did not happen anywhere else but in Pakistan and also in KPK that a female student topped the matriculation examination. A girl who topped the matric exams with 1,100 out of 1,100 marks.
Qandeel Khan was the only girl student in the whole of Pakistan who achieved a record total of 1100 marks.
Qandeel Khan, an orphan, surprised everyone by getting 11000 marks out of 1100 in the intermediate exams. BISE Mardan on Tuesday organized a special function in honor of the position-holder students. This was when Qandeel Khan , the girl who topped the matriculation board exams, was introduced.
The chairman of the board also announced that all board fees would not be charged for recognizing Qandeel’s talent.
Talking to media, qandeel said that all her achievements were the result of hard work of teachers and prayers of mother.
Taking note of the extraordinary development, the state minister for elementary and secondary education, Shahir Ram Khan Tarkai, on Wednesday constituted an evaluation committee to examine the copies of qandeel and other students who scored almost 100 percent marks.
A notification in this regard said that the committee would re-examine and check the copies of the individual students who scored more than 1090 marks out of a total of 1100 in the tenth and intermediate examinations.
The pass percentage was noteworthy as 97.82% of students passed the matriculation examination while 96.48% passed the intermediate examination.
The committee will also examine the academic track record of these students and their current marks and history obtained in previous examinations.
